This kit uses a colorimetric Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification (LAMP)-based solution for rapid SARS-CoV-2 & Flu A/B detection.

Features

  • Detection is simple and fast colorimetric LAMP reaction by using a RGB Reader¢â device. No other instrument is required for this assay, except for a 65¡É heat source. (Mini-Dry Bath is recommended.)

  • Utilizes crude nasal swab samples without RNA preparation steps including lysis.

  • Reduce risk of carryover contamination with thermolabile UDG and dUTP included in the kit. (The inclusion of dUTP and thermolabile UDG in the kit reduces the possibility of carryover contamination, where unintended product of a previous amplification can serve as the substrate of subsequent reaction. Thermolabile UDG is completely inactivated at temperature above 50¡É, thereby having no effect on the amplification reaction.)

  • End-point colorimetric detection via a metal indicator (hydroxy naphthol blue)
